New Flash Free Two Loons For Tea

Our latest site conversion from Flash based to HTML 5 is the new Two Loons For Tea site. We also incorporated WordPress so the band can easily update their home/news page on their own.

As the demand for greater accessibility from my clients continues, I’m doing my best to find new tools and gain new skill sets to accommodate their needs to reach iPads/iPods/iOS and other devices. There is also a growing demand for WordPress and other CMS options from clients to be able to update at least portions of their sites or content easily on their own. My goal is provide them with the most affordable, customizable, and solid solutions possible.

Natural Energy Lab – make over phase 1

NEL is one of my longest running clients, having launched the original site in 2002. A lot has happened with the internet since then and we’re working with them to bring their site up to speed once again.

A cleaner design, and the introduction of an HTML 5 audio player are among the steps taken; more to come as we go thru the music archives and get those updated, and bring in more modern technology to the site.

New CD packaging layouts for Misfits Records hitting the stores in October …

I just finished the CD packaging layouts for 2 albums due in stores this October for Misfits Records.
Expect the new studio album from the Misfits entitled “The Devil’s Rain” and JuiceheaD’s “How To Sail A Sinking Ship” in stores and online early October.

Guided by the vision of Art Director John Cafiero, we produced these package designs utilizing artwork by Arthur Suydam and Mike King.

For the time being, all I can share are the front covers, and look forward to being able to show the more elaborate portions of these packages in the near future.

Pre-orders and additional details will be made available by Misfits Records soon.

“Hit So Hard : The Life & Near Death Story of Patty Schemel” site launches

Once again working with Los Angeles based design firm Riot Structure (who provided the graphic and web design), we coded out and built the site for this documentary about drummer Patty Schemel. Hit So Hard” Debuts at this year’s SXSW – check the site for additional screening dates and more information.

Hit So Hard s a pull-no-punches portrait of the hell-and-back life of Patty Schemel, the hard-hitting drummer of Courtney Love’s seminal rock band ‘Hole’ during its peak years. As a young girl who always knew she was ‘different’ from the other kids in her farm town home outside of Seattle, Patty never dreamed she would one day have her picture on the cover of ‘Rolling Stone.’ But she also never fathomed that she could lose it all. A true survivor of what we now know was the disaffected ‘slacker’ generation, Patty found herself, like her friend Kurt Cobain, embraced by the dark side. An unprecedented and unflinching inside look at one of the 90s most crucial and controversial groups.
